Scientifically Proven Way Of Reversing The Aging Process

Mankind has been searching for the secret to eternal youth without success for millienia, but a new study has found an aesthetic treatment that may actually deliver. A new study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (2013) has shown that BBL (Broadband Light) treatments are able to change the gene expression of skin cells so they are rejuvenated and act like younger cells.

While most aesthetic treatments can only help to mimic the appearance of youthful skin, BBL treatments are the first to be a proven functional anti-aging therapy, where the process of aging is actually reversed and the skin is able to be renewed and rejuvenated from within.


In the study, the skin of 5 participants of age 50+ were compared with the skin of women who were less than 30. After only 3 treatments of BBL, the treated skin was shown to have improved in cell transcription, immune function, defense response, cellular activity, elasticity and collagen composition. Genetic testing showed that the genes at the treated area more closely resembled those of the 30 year old women than that of their own skin from untreated areas. It was observed that no damage at either the cellular or molecular level occurred as a result of the BBL treatments. There was also evidence of some protection against skin cancer.

A separate study done by one of the doctors from the Standford study, Patrick Bitter, Jr, MD, examined the effects of an annual treatment of BBL light on 15 subjects over 5-11 years, and the astounding results show that even though the average age of participants had increased by 9 years, a panel of 491 physicians and other evaluators actually found a decrease in how old they look. All the participants in the study showed improvements in pigmentation, skin elasticity, lines and wrinkles, and redness and blotchiness of the skin. 

Before - 69 years old, After - 75 years old, treatments once a year for six consecutive years.

The study authors observed that the more treatments of BBL that a participant received, the better their skin looked, and no matter their age (the oldest participant in the study was 69 years old), a definite improvement could be seen. On average, it is estimated that every treatment session could help your skin look up to two years younger.
